WINNERS
My photograph of my daughter Joni (well, her
legs) is shortlisted in the Documentary category
of this year’s British Photography Awards! As
well as being shortlisted in the documentary
category, there is also a People's Choice Award
at the British Photography Awards: so please
can I ask any members who are able to take a
moment to vote here for my image!
My image 'It's Complicated' was one of the winners of
the Minimalist Photography Awards 2025 and was
awarded second place winner in the Conceptual
category. The image is taken from a series
commissioned by Pavilion Books for Philipa Found's
book 'It's Complicated'. The book is a collection of
lockdown love stories: anonymous confessions
navigating romance, heartbreak, friendships and sex.
The brief was to capture messy, complicated love via
still life with a vintage feel.
