Reaching 40 years is an incredible achievement given the
plethora of photography competitions that have
appeared over this period. We're brimming with
excitement about the live celebratory event and the
opportunity to see so many of you under one roof in a
new studio venue - tickets are selling out fast!
In our Business & Legal updates, we are delighted to
share the successful recovery of £65,000 for Accredited (&
some Associate) Photographers to date so far this year.
We also share news about a major step in the right
direction, holding AI developers to account, in the US
class action case of Bartz v. Anthropic that sees a record
$1.5 billion settlement for authors.
This month's bumper 50-page Focus newsletter features
our still & moving image AOP Awards finalists, all of
whom will have their work showcased at our very special
Awards. Plus, the return of PhotoMonth EastLondon
which launches this month, and we have a print sale
fundraiser callout from PhotoFusion, featuring prints
offered by a number of AOP Accredited Photographers.
We also feature lots of our members' news and agent
updates.
Enjoy!
