Looking Down
This is a series of photographs I've taken as I've
started learning about the world of street
photography.
Handyman— This was taken on a walk in Notting Hill,
London. It was a group of plumbers playing around and
scaring each other!
The inspiration behind this project stems from the
reason I started doing street photography: to be
more present in the moment. I wanted to start
documenting what I saw when I looked down, but
not at my phone, as who actually looks at the floor
nowadays! I wanted to share how fun a simple walk
to the shops can be if you look around, instead of
simply looking down at your phone.

Man's best friend: Louis Vuitton— Taken in Paris,
France during Paris Fashion Week.
The constraints for the project meant that I could
only photograph things or people below the waist, I
liked this as it added a bit of intrigue to the images.
Also, this ties in with my strong personal interest in
fashion (having grown up in Paris), as my dad said
"the most revealing thing about a person is their
shoes", and this is something I'm always drawn to!
I hope you enjoy the images as much as I did taking
them. —
