Swan Lake
I was walking, photo hunting, along
the River Clyde, near Glasgow
Green, when my curiosity made me
lean over the fence to check the
water level, but instead of just the
river, I encountered this
heartbreaking scene.
At first glance, I couldn't tell if the
swan was dead or alive. I watched it
for a while until it finally woke up,
looked around, and went back to
sleep, right there in the middle of all
that trash.
It is really sad to see this kind of
neglect in our cities, and I felt I had
to capture the moment. This is a not
so kind reminder that this is the
footprint we are leaving behind.—
