Back in August, I had my first solo exhibition showing the series Yellow Wallpaper, a series that the AOP
helped push further with an assisting bursary back in 2024. Yellow Wallpaper is a series of portraits and
text that discuss the wide complexities of living with endometriosis, adenomyosis and PMOS (formerly
PCOS) that emerged from my own frustration of living with adenomyosis. The exhibition was on display
for a week, part of BIAF - an international arts festival in Buzau, south-eastern Romania.
A local newspaper also featured a long interview discussing the project; fellow AOP colleague Chantel
King provided my portrait for it.
I've attached three pictures from the vernissage, where I spoke about the project with Ms Tudose,
Vicepresident of the European Midwives' Association.
Thank you to the AOP for the bursary, and more specifically for giving me the confidence to keep the
project going.
