This award celebrates the very best in the new wave of photographers and image-makers who have been practicing
their craft for less than 3 years.*
*( i.e., working professionally either full or part-time.)
Judged by established professionals, industry representatives and backed by a trade organisation with decades of
expertise and experience – the AOP Emerging Talent Award can assist with springboarding your professional
photographic career
8This year9s prevailing genre shining through both still and moving image submissions is undoubtedly human-focused,
even where the human imprint is on places and animals. It9s an impressive selection of work, chosen by our expert
panel of judges, for our 2026 Emerging Talent finalists ,and I9m looking forward to seeing their career development with
anticipation.9
