It9s official – we have publicly launched our AOP
8Community Under One Roof9 fundraising campaign. The
AOP London premises was purchased back in 2012 and
rented out for over a decade.
With the challenging rental market and a need for a
physical space for AOP members and the wider community
once more, we have embarked on an ambitious plan to try
to keep the building in our hands and put it to good use.
But we need everyone9s help to achieve this. We9ve
launched both Cash and Print Donations options, and
have been overwhelmed by the generosity so far, including
our Auction Prints.

It was also lovely to see so many AOP members and
supporters at our AOP Late Summer Social, at 93 Feet East
on 16 September 2026. The weather was dry and the drinks
and conversation were flowing. Congratulations to Zoë
Norfolk, Accredited Photographer and Silver Awards
winner, Project Category, who won the raffle prize of an
CG2700X monitor generously donated by EIZO.
Now as we head into autumn we continue to champion
commissioning photographers and image-makers for their
original, artistic and conceptual creativity. This edition
showcases some of our members9 amazing work, either as
personal projects, finalists and winners for awards, new
published books, and recent commissions.

Our campaigning efforts continue, with amplifying support
for the 8We Are Better Than This9 campaign, initiated by
children9s book illustrators and voices by Miriam Margolyes,
which explains how big tech are trying to persuade
governments to change copyright law.

This month sees the Creators Emergency Summit Part 2, on
13 October, with the focus on solutions – more details here.
Watch out for more 8creators9 rights and AI9 campaigning to
come over the next few weeks and months.
We will also host a number of in-person events at the AOP
premises in Haggerston (London Fields/North Shoreditch)
leading up to the festive holidays.

channels in due course.
